I. Applicant
1. Applicant should abide by China’s laws, regulations and the rules of Southwest Jiaotong University, respect the social morality, ethnic customs, religious beliefs and customs of the different countries, love peace and can communicate with different countries people friendly.
2. Applicant who wishes to apply for bachelor degree, master’s degree and doctoral degree should achieve excellent academic record in his/her previous study period.
3．Applicant does not win any China government scholarship；
II. Application Methods
Applicant submits your application materials to International Affairs Office of Southwest Jiaotong University before June, 30 in each year. All application materials will not be retuned.
In the mid July in every year, experts organized by International Affairs Office of Southwest Jiaotong University shall review all application materials. After approval, International Affairs Office of Southwest Jiaotong University will notice the result to the applicants soon.
II. Scholarship Category
1．Full Scholarship:
Doctoral Degree Students （4 students）
Tuition Free, accommodation free and financial assistance 1500 RMB/ month
2．Partial Scholarship：
Master Degree Students （10 students）
Supply 10000RMB/year/student subsidy （1000 RMB/ month）
Bachelor Degree Students （40 candidates）
The University offers financial assistance to scholarship
recipients 5000 RMB in 10 months for their daily subsistence
and other expenses that may incur during the program of study
in a year.
According to the regulations of SWJTU, the academic year is
as the following：Master Degree 2.5ys，Doctoral Degree 4y.
Students who cannot graduate within academic year cannot
extend the scholarship. Students can support study
by yourselves or apply other scholarship.
III、Intermediate examination
In each academic year, the University shall examine and access scholarship recipients to decide whether or not their performances are satisfied for the renewal of scholarship.
